Privacy policy
What we collect when you read, subscribe, or run the scorecard, why we are allowed to, and how to make us stop.
Who is responsible
The controller for the purposes of the GDPR is Pro Mind Hub, Inhaber Farzad Golestan, Lahnstr. 5, 56112 Lahnstein, Deutschland. You can reach us at farzad@promindhub.com.
When you simply read the site
Our hosting provider records technical connection data in server logs: the requesting IP address, the page requested, the time, the referring page and browser details. This is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in delivering and securing the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use it to build a profile of you.
When you subscribe to the newsletter
We process the email address you give us, and your first name if you provide one, in order to send the briefing. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by writing to farzad@promindhub.com. Withdrawing does not affect the lawfulness of what we sent before.
Delivery is handled by our email provider, Estage, acting as a processor under a data processing agreement. We keep your address until you unsubscribe.
When you complete the scorecard
The scorecard runs in your browser. Your answers are only transmitted to us if you ask for the written report, in which case we receive your answers together with the email address and name you enter. We use them to produce your report and to send the briefing. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
We keep the answers for as long as you remain subscribed, so that a later report can be compared against your first one. Ask us at farzad@promindhub.com and we will delete them sooner.
Cookies and measurement
We do not set advertising cookies and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers. Any strictly necessary cookies exist to make the site function. If we later add analytics that require consent, we will ask for it before setting anything.
Transfers outside the EU
Some of our processors operate infrastructure outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, transfers are covered by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. Write to farzad@promindhub.com for the specifics.
Your rights
You have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). Send any of these requests to farzad@promindhub.com.
You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In Germany you may contact the data protection authority of the state in which you live.
Changes
When we change how we handle data we update this page and change the date below. Material changes affecting subscribers are announced in the briefing.
